    • hi,

we are using the seed what we ate. we plated them. some seeds took more then 6 weeks to germinate.
what i have read/heard is each seed might have its own way of growing. unless its grafted its not sure when it will give fruits. hope this helps. cheluvaraj

I have six seedlings growing from three jamun seeds. They germinated in three weeks under very good growing weather. They are almost two month old and three inches tall now. I will have to move them inside the house for the winter as the seedling will not survive the winter outside. I am in Northern VA. I believe Jamun tree grown from a seedling starts giving fruit in it’s 8th or 9th year. Grafted ones fruit earlier. I hope this helps.
