We wanted to start our Natural farming before this rainy season, but soon we realised that it’s not going to happen. So decided to do something on our terrace. We started plating seeds from the fruit what we eat everyday. It was just begging of mango season and jamun and we started with that. It’s been two months are so and the result is very good.
We also started collecting seeds of roadside avenue trees like Rain tree, Gulmohar, honge (Avenue tree) and Pride of India tree. One of our Natural farmer friend (Mr. Shashi Kumar from Ramnagar) is using milk cover for his saplings. So why not use available plastic cover for the saplings; nowadays everything comes with plastic cover so why not use them. We have used milk covers, grocery covers any plastic cover which comes home is used for nursery.
From last two months we are able to plant nearly 300 seeds and more then 100 are sprouted and rest are yet to sprout. We would like to continue this activity as long as possible.
