Two weeks back, we decided to grow vegetable on our terrace. We again used all old big plastic cover for the same. We have more then 10 big plastic bags for now and we are planning to continue and grow as much as possible.

We have planted few verities of vegetables like chili, carrot, beans, sponge gourd, cluster beans and Methi (menthya soppu). We bought these seeds from Green Foundation. These seeds are the local breads and these seeds are produced organically.

Currently we are using corporation water, soon we want to go for Rain water harvesting and use the same water for these plants.

I am also plannign to statr growing vegetables in my terrace… so would u pls update ur blog as to how has teh experience been so far & what all tips would you like to share with beginners like me. I have just started with Garlic & Marigold.

  I apologize for not updating my blog. vegetables not a good success, because of pest. my intention is to grow naturally without using any organic solutions. would like to continue this. we didn’t use much of this vegetables and left if for seeding. we are planning to plant the same seeds again and see what happens. other way we like to develop a seed to have resistance to pests. this Terrace garden is a lab for me. other part we have grown tree saplings and they are doing very well.
