Saplings

Today we had been to GKVK (Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra) University of Agricultural Sciences campus to buy saplings. We reached there by 12 noon and it’s being a Saturday they said they close at 12:30 PM so we had very less time to select the saplings. they are open from 9:00 AM to 3:00PM on weekdays.

Saplings are quite reasonably priced compare to any other nursery. They also have number of verities of Tree and plant saplings. One should plan and spend time to see all kinds of verities. These saplings are sold by Horticulture department.

If one is looking for ornamental plants then they can also visit Floriculture Department for more details.

We are planning to make a exclusive visit next time. If you are interested and if you are new to Bangalore, Click here for route map of GKVK
